Taller than most domes and able to cover a casserole to reheat
The Progressive Dome Microwave was intended to replace the Magnet Dome Microwave I bought from a TV commercial years ago and accidentally walked on one hot stovetop to melt it. The progressive dome is much larger than the old one, about 5" tall at the center, making it better for baking than regular microwave lids, which tend to be shorter. Overall great design and it doubles as a strainer and strainers are never enough especially when you need to wash all your fruit and veg as we have rat lungworm here.
