📀 Sony 5MCR-156A 8cm 3 inch CD-R Disc for Mavica Digital Cameras 5-pack: Discontinued by Manufacturer Review

These discs work great. Make it bad that you can't get them anymore. I had to replace the 210 megabyte Memorex drives that run sometimes at 75% and sometimes at 50% in my Sony camera. I need to put them into my graphics software to get the brightness, contrast, hue and saturation where they should be. JJK

3" CD-R for Mavica. I received a CD-R and 3 packs of CD-RWs and the CD-R got a disc error after a few seconds The way I see it the drive isn't totally dead because you can still use it in a computer and set it up like a memory stick except it's on a CD Probably best for photos as it's only 156 MB disk space will be.

If anyone else is using an old Sony Mavica digital camera; I have found that only these CD-Rs work properly with my camera. I've tried the cheaper ones but always found that they end up causing a problem that causes all my images to be lost. When using an unknown brand; I can't finalize images, resulting in image loss. This is the only CD-R I would recommend for this camera.

My discs arrived much quicker than I expected and it was great that my husband had time to 'play' with them before he went on vacation. No complaints from us as we were very pleased with these discs as the manufacturer no longer stocks them in one of our local stores and can't get them from Best Buy. Now we can keep using our amazing camera that most people think is outdated but takes amazing photos that our smartphone can't match. :)

The Sony Mavica digital camera uses mini disks to store images and videos. Unfortunately, stores no longer sell these discs as newer and cheaper cameras become available. However, these new cameras cannot produce the same high-quality photos. It's all about the cheaper, faster, cheaper, throwaway society that the US has become, isn't it?
