Average purchase, there is something to complain about.

In general, I can say that the headphones are pretty good for their price, but the sound quality is a little disappointing. But in principle, some songs play pretty well. You can listen. Pros: Lightweight, comfortable (pretty good fit in the ears), inexpensive. Different cons: But the sound is not the strongest side of these headphones. When I bought it, I thought that the sound would be better. Not enough bass, too much treble in my opinion.

The pricing, the design, the fact that they are comfortable and secure in my ears, and their dependability have all won me over after more than a year of use. Below are some downsides: Obviously, the sound is not as luminous as it formerly was. However, what would you like in exchange for 150 r? =)

Exactly what I needed, it's a great buy, I recommend it.

Headphones that are normal, inexpensive, and have a normal sound. It is obvious that for such a price, the sound quality would not be comparable to that in vacuum earplugs; yet, to tell the truth, the earplugs are already irritating your ears:)

A wonderful classic.

This is a classic. It has a nice sponge shell and doesn't intrude into the ear canal like modern in-ear headphones. They fit perfectly and sound great with my Samsung Galaxy S9+. Thank goodness Samsung is keeping the 3.5mm headphone jacks on its phones for another generation with the S10 series. They arrived quickly.

  • Ultra light in-ear headphones
Cons
  • Doubtful

Best headphones I've ever owned

I've been using these headphones for years because they're the only ones that don't hurt my ears. (My ear holes are very small, which means I can't wear Apple Earbuds or Bass Boost Earbuds.) Unfortunately, they've been discontinued, but I'm glad I can still find them on Amazon. They have great sound quality and they last so long! My last pair lasted almost three years! Great headphones IMHO.

Choose version 10 instead

I bought a pair of these a few years ago but only recently opened them up to use. I used the MDR-e10 version which I think (1) fits better (headphones are slightly smaller) and (2) sounds much better. In the A/B comparison, the 9s sound very tinny with a small base, while the 10s have a much fuller sound and reasonable bass presence. Unfortunately the 10's have been discontinued but are still available.

  • Neodymium magnet for powerful bass sound

pure sound. Good price!

Fantastic headphones. Very clearly. I really like the traditional in-ear style as they don't stay in my ears, are uncomfortable and make noise when walking. The traditional style of headphones is becoming increasingly difficult to find. It's sad to see "manufacturer discontinued" in some descriptions of this item. I bought 3 pairs and will probably buy another one to have more spares. Either way, these are good headphones that will get the job done and last a while.

  • Super light in-ear headphones

The best headphones I've ever had!

Wow, I couldn't believe I bought these headphones for less than $8! The sound quality is just fantastic. The moment I put them on, I knew these were the headphones I was looking for. The bass is amazing and the volume is higher than regular headphones. I usually had to tune the apples to at least 60% to fully hear my music. 30% is enough for them. I have a habit of swinging my headphones around with hard objects if I'm not careful. Usually when this happens most of my headphones either lose a…

Quality is the way!

I like others in this comment section, love Sony headphones! I've been using these headphones for over 5 years and consider them the best on the market at a great price. I like the flat ear design that keeps the earbud in place. I don't like the fit of the newer models and find it difficult to find a flat earbud anywhere. I'm really shocked that Sony is discontinuing such a great product. You should really reconsider this decision. Great product, really great product!

Sony should bring back the E10LP headphones

Headphones for everyday use. It's a shame that Sony has discontinued this range of affordable and reliable headphones. In my experience they have always lasted 3 months to a year with daily use and the general rough storage I put them in. As more professional reviews state, there isn't much bass in these headphones, but it's a joke for the full highs and overall sound quality. The E9LP doesn't have the latter, and the build quality is much worse. They only lasted me 2 months before breaking…

Great for commuting

I used the standard iPod headphones but they fell out of my ears while walking or standing on the subway. On a crowded train, I wasn't always able to plug my headphones back in. These Sony headphones are awesome! They are shaped to fit my ears so they don't fall out during normal activity. The sound quality is good - nothing exceptional, but good for what I use them for (I don't notice any difference to iPod headphones). My only complaint is that they are made of harder plastic than the iPod…

lasted a year before and after washing + drying

Let me first say that I am biased against these headphones because they lasted another year after one wash. Let me assure you that the laundry experiment was an experiment done by professionals and don't repeat it at home. This little experiment of mine (it was an accident, but having called it an experiment I should be content) of my own should be enough to guarantee reliability. So let's talk about another use I've had with these headphones. I bought these headphones in April 2011 and now…
