good replacement for DSLR cameras

I bought this camera when I was having problems with my old Sony camera. I was disappointed that Sony stopped making viewfinder cameras. But I thought I'd try a trip to Africa anyway. Without the viewfinder it was difficult to shoot outside and half the time not knowing what you were doing. Viewfinder is required. Some confusion when I wanted to turn on the backlight flash, for example with a sunset and a figure in front of it. Still not easy enough. It's also difficult to take night shots. I'm
