Sony D FS601 Sports Walkman Portable Review

My father never told me why he didn't use the Sony player I bought him for Christmas. He passed away at the end of February 2021 and it broke my heart that when I went through his stuff I found it didn't work. I changed many different batteries and they never worked. Of course, the return window was closed and I was annoyed that I couldn't even return it. My worst Revain purchase!

As other reviewers have said, this thing is a tank and will last almost forever unless you do something careless like throw it out the window of a two story house. If you are looking for a great CD player, THIS IS IT! Not only does it sound fantastically great and far better than any of the many CD players I've had over the years, it absolutely NEVER drops out of tone. The TV function doesn't work on any of these Sonys as the technology for TVs is now a digital signal. The TV function button was for the old days when TV signals were transmitted analog.
