Difficulty getting this to work on Mac.

It's frustrating that I can't connect this to my iMac. We got a Sony laptop first but couldn't edit our discs on it. More than a year later we got an iMac (which we really like) - I wish the Sony camera was connected to the iMac via USB. imac does not support miniDVD. Any suggestions (other than always Canon)? Otherwise, the camera is ergonomic and works well when you're not editing on an iMac.

Review Comment: Maine Customer

I was just commenting on a previous review and was wondering why the reviewer is copying/pasting information and sending it for three different cameras. I felt the reviewer tried to explain the differences between the three cameras so the consumer can make an informed decision about which camera suits them best by comparing features and price. I found the reviews very helpful and they really helped me decide which model to buy. I'm sure that makes this person one of the top 100 reviewers on…

Very happy with this product!

I purchased this product when my son was 7 months old, just a month before his first Christmas. I looked at all the competitors and quickly decided on the Sony DVD200 or DVD300. I could have bought a DVD300 for about $100 more, but I didn't care about the 3.5-inch LCD screen. The only difference between the DVD200 and DVD300 is the size of the LCD screen. The ease of use is great! 5 Stars! Noise and vibration are almost imperceptible. Don't worry about other people's comments about vibration…

like DCR-DVD300, except smaller LCD

The DCR-DVD200 sits at the center of Sony's recently launched range of MiniDVD camcorders. Other models in this series are the DCR-DVD300 and the DCR-DVD100. The main difference between the three camcorders in this range is the size of the LCD and the resolution of the CCD: - DCR-DVD300: 3.5" LCD, 1 megapixel CCD - DCR-DVD200: 2.5" LCD , 1 megapixel CCD-DCR- DVD100: 2.5" LCD, 640K CCD Advantages: - Records Dolby Digital Stereo. - Carl Zeiss lens. - 10x optical zoom. - Video quality is almost on
