Amazing audio recording; unsafe stand mounting

I like this device. I bought it to use with the Dragon transcription software. For that, it works well except when I'm shooting without a headset in a noisy car. (I know, yes!) I've also used it to record public gatherings without taking handwritten notes. What amazes me is how clearly the "encounter scene” picks up voices even from afar, in a crowd, even when hidden in my purse! He was also excellent at recording the wedding singer's voice from a pew halfway into the church. Very economical…

GREAT POTENTIAL BUT FINISHED. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!

First of all I will not give a detailed review of the performance and features of the Sony ICD-SX712 Digital Recorder as I have read some other reviews which very accurately reflect its many features. impressive properties. I had three identical Sony DVRs and unfortunately two of them ended up in the trash. WHY? . With the first two modules I started to have serious, even fatal problems. Both showed the same performance after the failure. They "initialized" at power on and then went back to the

Just what I needed

Small - Fast - Versatile Just what I needed. Buy Dragon Premium separately - don't buy a bundle - you'll be grateful you spent a few extra dollars. My copy of Dragon (from Revain) was the latest version 11.5, even though the page said 11.0. Anyway, it's a free update (download) just in case. Batteries last a long time (batteries aren't included unless you buy the Dragon kit - so what?) Comes with a very handy printed manual - but download a PDF from Sony to find it out to use your computer. The

Digital voice recorder SONY ICD-SX712

First of all I would like to say that the voice recorder has a very nice style. I bought this recorder to use in addition to my purchase of Dragon NaturallySpeaking Premium 11. The instruction manual is very detailed and I recommend the buyer to read it carefully. The recorder offers a number of different settings, sensitivities and storage modes.
