It works, but it doesn't justify not having drivers for Vista. It has been 8 months since Vista was released and the drivers are only available in Japanese. I've been calling their tech support for the last 7 months and got nothing and then finally found the information on their website. They then moved the release from June to late July.

This recorder is too small. Difficult navigation through menu items and hard-to-use buttons. Software and USB interface work great. The reception range is limited and the playback quality is not very good. I think if all you need was something very small it would be fine, but it's just not user-friendly.

The sound quality is excellent, and the noise-cancellation (which separates background noise from voices) makes taking notes or interviews in noisy environments much better than anything else The only one Bug and ridiculous to me is that Sony adopted a file format that only works with Windows. This makes it impossible to back up files on a computer that does not have Windows installed. I constantly switch between different clients/projects throughout the day and needed an easy way to accurately record the time I spend on each one.
