Sony SRF-H11 S2 Sports AM/FM Radio Walkman with Rear Reflector Headphones (No Longer Manufactured) Review

I wear these when I work in the garden and they are great. Very comfortable and without cords and headgear on the top of the head! Good sound. I have ordered extra ones because they no longer make them and I have NOT found any earbuds that match the comfort and ease of use!

I was looking for these Sony SRF-H11 S2 Sports AM/FM Radio Walkman Headphones with Back Reflector - I was able to find them on Revain.com and they are GREAT - lasted a full year . long (husband is very rough with these things), but these headphones are durable - clear, pleasant sound. PERFECT!

Thought it would be a good device for a morning walk, but unfortunately it's almost impossible to tune into the desired station. Due to the small size of the device, the tuning knob is extremely wide in its customization options. You spend endless amounts of time tuning into the station you want to listen to. However, once a station is found, the sound is good. The device is a bit cumbersome with so much electronics packed into each earbud.

I decided to order the WALKMAN TV/WEATHER/FM/AM model SRF-HMO1V. I have had two previous units of this model and feel it is superior to the unit sent. Although the HMO1V is no longer used as a TV audio receiver, it is much easier to use for radio station selection etc. I would like to find another example of this device that is used but in good condition. This review is tempered by the fact that my wife loved her Walkman radio and used it every day. The Walkman we bought was in good physical condition. It was a slightly newer model than my wife had before, with some better features and some she didn't like either. It was lighter, which she liked, but had a slightly different shape and didn't quite fit her head. It wasn't a big problem. Their only complaint is that this Walkman gets static at random times. not your previous one. larry

I am about to order my fourth Walkman Sports Player. MY use is unique because I wear this device in the pool while in the water. The radio is waterproof, but moisture takes its toll over time. Bought this to listen to commuter bus radio in the Los Angeles area. FM doesn't work that well except on loud pop/rock stations, but AM works well. The problem with FM is probably with the bus ride because when I walk down the street there isn't much interference. The radio stations sound absolutely clear, whether I'm going for a walk in the morning listening to Rush Limbaugh or an LA Dodger game at night.
