A good product, I advise you to try it.

The lens is very good, the focal length is not for everyone, but it is universal, not 24 and not 35, something in between, I used it in conjunction with 14mm \ 16mm \ 50mm \ 85mm \ 70-200mm, with any focal length for him. In total, I had 3 such lenses (I bought and sold, I thought about switching to other systems and stuff like that). You need to be able to work with this focal point, I didn’t understand what it means before, only after working with it in conjunction with other focal points I…

Pros
  • - Light, UNREALLY light, the lightest that I held in my hands - fast, very fast (photo and video) - silent, absolutely, unless you put it to your ear))) - relatively durable and resistant to external factors, but do not try to test it! - quality! The focus ring, although with weak paint, is made of iron, and this cannot but rejoice! - small thread for filters (cheap) - almost no aberrations
Cons
  • - although the focus ring is metal, the paint there seems to be gouache - poor protection against dust and moisture, the bayonet is not rubberized - barrel - vignetting

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I think it' Pros: Sharp, lightweight, it blurs the background perfectly, I’m not afraid to say that there is even a hint of some artistry and volume! Honest aperture 2.0, which is confirmed by dxomark tests. Cons: At the expense of security, I personally have big doubts, whoever saw it from the bayonet side will understand me.

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Complete with 55 1.8 gives a killer combo for every day of excellent quality in a briefcase with documents. Do not buy cheap light filters, I sold the foich stupidly, thinking that it was terribly lame . Pros below: Lightweight, compact and light. Gives good bokeh in the open. Sharp at a7p. And most importantly a very reasonable price. Cons below: Barrel - they say it is corrected programmatically, but I prefer to leave it as it is if there is no serious architecture in the frame

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Today I will present you my review of the product Sony SEL 28 Mount Objektiv. Yuzaetsya on A7. Due to the lack of competitors in this price segment, it is beautiful. Yes, there are better but 2-3 times more expensive. If the angle is small or the picture is not too good, take Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2 or Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS. By the way, for whom the angle is too small, there are converters for width and fisheye

Pros
  • Aperture 2.0. Washes the background on the open. Dustproof construction. Lightweight. Linear drive for silent video recording.
Cons
  • Slow autofocus, as if there is no contrast in the carcass. XA and a small barrel, not critically edited programmatically. Bigger in my opinion. No stub, for video it would be great.

Today I will inform you about a product that I found Sony SEL 28 Mount Objektiv. For many, it may turn out to be the main lens, the picture is decent, very pleasant to the touch, soft focus drive, there are questions about weather resistance, but of course I won’t check it, but the interesting news was that there are converters for this lens, an extra wide (16mm) and fisheye (180°), now I want to try

Pros
  • Light, compact, light, not expensive and, as I recently found out, modular
Cons
  • Minimal distortion, but it's there

Not at all what I expected.

All painted in shortcomings. I will say one thing. I would never buy it if Sony had alternatives. Unfortunately, Sony lenses cost prohibitively huge amounts of money in terms of price-quality ratio. They make really bad glasses at a high price. I chose an inexpensive lens for 30 thousand - as a result, it crumbled. The Sony company is very disappointing. In terms of attitude to their products. There are also complaints about the work of the A7SII.

Pros
  • Aperture-fast. Not a bad focal length for use on a stabilizer, but still narrow. It focuses well in automatic mode in video shooting on the A7SII, this allows you to keep the subject in focus when changing the distance. A useful feature for me when I work alone without a focus puller.
Cons
  • Weak construct. For 30 thousand you get a lens assembled from cheap materials. Very strong distortion. The barrel is guaranteed to you. On medium, close-ups, it looks terrible. The focal length is ridiculous. And not a universal 35-ka, and not a wide-angle. I tried to shoot architecture with it - distortion and narrowness. 24 mm, paradoxically, but gives a much wider picture. The main drawback: the diaphragm closing system broke 3 months after use. I note that the lens was bought only for video shooting. That is, the aperture is always in the same position during the shooting. It didn't save. The lens fluttered the aperture back and forth for 30 seconds when the camera was turned on. At this point, you can't take anything. Waiting for initialization. The Sony service center was recognized as non-repairable. Now I'm going to return the money. I do not want to change to the same new one, I will look for an alternative.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

The lens in terms of price-quality ratio turned out to be very good! I love him, even despite the shortcomings)) I just made friends with them and they don’t bother me. I bought it because of the lack of normal zooms in the system. Since then, he has become my staff member, and I have never regretted the purchase. A bunch of 28/2.0 + 55/1.8 is just a bomb! Added: He showed himself well when filming the Milky Way. I note that it has light transmission according to DRL measurements Tstop = 2.0…

Pros
  • -Very light and compact. - The design is very good! It's nice to have it in your hands! Feels like either metal or very high quality plastic. - The price does not bite at all - Excellent, one might even say magical, drawing on the open - it's a pleasure to shoot portraits with them! - Fast, quiet autofocus (on A7ii) - Added: Surprisingly good for amateur astrophotography (more on that below)
Cons
  • - No focus bar - Sharpness - in the far field it is frankly weak, in my copy of the aperture up to F / 6.3-F / 7.1 - conditionally working. And this is even for a not at all picky amateur photographer like me. I try to shoot landscapes on F9-F11. In the near field, everything is fine with the open. - Color reproduction compared to Zeiss lenses, in particular 55 / 1.8 is noticeably worse. You have to stretch the colors and contrast in the developers. But if the micro-contrast of the lens is initially not so good, no programs will be able to make candy. - Distortion. She's obscenely huge. Of course, everything is corrected in the editors and automatically in the camera. For landscapes, everything is fine, but (!) if you shoot people and they are located at the edges, this greatly distorts the faces. And of course sharpness suffers. Therefore, I try to shoot people as close to the center of the frame as possible, and for large groups I have to turn off editing and put up with distortion

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

After the sale of Tamron 28-75, only Zeis 55 1.8 remained on hand. It was necessary to shoot a training video for a beauty salon. The room turned out to be very small and I sent my wife to rent tamrons for this, but she returned with a Sony 28f2. The angle was sufficient, so we filmed everything on it. The lens was very sharp even wide open. From time to time I caught flashes from ring lamps, but for its price this is nonsense. Worked on a solid 5 in artificial light. Of course, when you use a…

Pros
  • Strong, metal, reliable lens :) compact Excellent sharpness for this price The autofocus motor works great with the a7iii Good price for the width of a Sony full frame
Cons
  • Catches hares with a bang
