🎙️ Sony TCS 30D Pressman Cassette Recording Device Review

I've dreamed of something like this for a long time. It's very convenient as I can take it to any room or in the car since we only have a CD player in it. I listen to a lot of cassettes and my regular cassette deck just can't handle it. Thank you for still carrying a tape recorder that I don't have to put on headphones to!

I've had this recorder for over a year now and use it every week. I use it for choral recordings and voice rehearsals and it works great. I always use the supplied stereo microphone. I used 2 separate tape recorders to record one of my singing lessons and this worked just as well as my larger and more expensive cassette recorder. For non-professional use this little recorder is great.

I exchange audio mail with friends and this stereo recorder was purchased after my Sony 100 DVS died and no replacement parts were available. The sound quality is excellent, although it doesn't pick up ambient noise as well as an old high-end machine. It comes with a stereo microphone, but it would be great if the microphone attached to the device as there is a long cable with a clip. This makes it difficult to record "impromptu". Overall good value for money. The other car cost nearly $300.
