A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

You should not expect miracles from him, this is not Hi-Fi and not Sonos or Bose. It performs its function to improve the sound of the TV speakers. Yes, there are questions about the price and some points, but in general, given that this is Sony, the money spent is not a pity. The power is quite enough to voice a movie in a room up to 30 meters.

    Pros
    • The sound at medium and high volumes is not bad, there is bass, and at a distance of up to two meters there is even a stereo effect. Compact, stylish, easy to connect. A stylish little remote control, the level of the subwoofer is separately adjustable, for the first time there is an optical cord in the kit, then it is better to connect via HDMI-ARC, there will be auto on / off. By the way, via Bluetooth it can be connected as A2DP, the soundbar will turn on automatically. the truth to be switched off by handles.
    Cons
    • At low volumes, the sound is not much better than the speakers built into the TV. There is out of sync with the sound on the TV when connected via optics. The volume of sound at a distance of more than two meters is no longer felt. I took model 291 - I don’t understand what color, and not white, and not beige, but rather light gray. The price, in my opinion, is too high, in Europe it is sold for 200 €, minus 19% tax, and it turns out to be quite an adequate cost.

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

I took in addition to the flimsy TV speakers Sony 40 453. The column is exactly the size of 40 '. The sound is voluminous, loud, via the HDMI wire you can control the sound with the TV remote control. I took for watching movies and PS4, the latter goes as a receiver. It’s a pity, of course, that there is a sound delay, even the firmware on the TV was ated, it didn’t help. : The problem was solved by connecting an optical cable directly to the PlayStation

    Pros
    • Excellent build quality, minimum settings, wireless subwoofer
    Cons
    • Sound out of sync with TV, which is optics, which is HDMI. Somewhere in a third of a second. Easy to check - turn on the video where some drummer is playing.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

I bought this sound and I'm happy with it. To begin with, I drove different styles of music, played everything 100%. Then in the evening my wife and I decided to watch "Bohemian Rhapsody". The concert at the end sounded like I was there myself. The wife let out a tear of happiness and from the powerful effect of presence. The sound is completely worth the money, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

    Pros
    • 1) Awesome sound quality for the money. (high and mid frequencies are played with a bang!) 2) Bass. The low frequencies are very high quality, they don’t just fart, but they sound gorgeous and right. 3) Wireless sub. Very comfortably. 4) Strict design 5) There is no dust mesh on the soundbar, like some models from Samsung and Yamaha
    Cons
    • There can be only one drawback. The downside is the bass for those who just want the subwoofer to make obscure sounds and have those sounds as loud as possible.

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    Unsatisfactory, upset by this product.

Different pros: The sound quality for such a price is more than normal, bluetooth worked perfectly, the link to the subwoofer did not disappear. Some cons: after 2 years of use, just after the end of the warranty, the subwoofer died. And he stood in the same place for 2 years and did not touch at all.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Has pros: Easily plugged into a smartphone, the sub turns on by itself via wifi. Does not stick out under the TV on the wall. Has some cons Where to put the sub did not think. It sits on the floor next to a power outlet. The bass didn't kill.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

For a small room, if you are not going to make yourself a 5.1 / 7.1 home theater, the best thing is to listen to music from your phone via bluetooth and watch movies with buzz. I put the sub to the left of the sofa, in action movies it gives the impression of a 3D cinema, as I jump along with the sofa (: With its pros. Ease of connection, light design (and this is really rare), price-quality ratio. Some cons: Until I noticed. Unless, when connected via optics, it does not turn on with the…

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Didn't regret the purchase at all. At first I wanted 5.1 acoustics, but in the end I think that I made the right choice towards the soundbar. Has some pros The sound quality is on top, you can throw a party. Connect immediately via HDMI ARC, so that there is synchronization with the TV set. The bass does not lag behind the sound, the buffer works like clockwork. Cons: Sometimes the connection from the telly falls off, possibly due to downtime. This rarely happens and is fixed simply by pressing

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

This device lived with me for about a week, and I couldn’t force myself to fall in love with it, today I returned it to the store I bought it for a good discount (20%), in the end it cost me 14,000, but for me it doesn’t even have that money costs. The balalaika was taken for SONY TV, I really wanted a meatier sound. Yes, the bass was added, but the sound itself is not much better than the TV sound. I suspect it's pretty stupid to buy a $200 fart for a $1000 TV. But as I have already described…

    Pros
    • compactness
    Cons
    • Specifically, in my case, a noticeable out of sync picture and sound. Neither the optical cable nor HDMI fixed the problem, obviously a rather weak soundbar in the soundbar. Or not compatible models of 2022 and 2022. The bottoms are mostly hammering, not thumping.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

Despite the many disadvantages, shortcomings that I wrote about, in general, it is better than the built-in speakers of the KD-55XF8596 TV. That's what's really annoying so far - this is the deafness of the subwoofer at a medium-low playback volume level. Moreover, Sony is cunning: on a TV set, when you switch sound modes from the speakers of the TV set or an external audio system, it plays the TV set quietly, and you get the feeling of inferiority of the TV speakers, but turn it up louder, and

    Pros
    • - really concise discreet design, no frills - the build quality is really good, I could not find fault with either the bar or the sub - for 2.1 at a volume of 60-80%, the sound really seems voluminous, worthy - there is an HDMI ARC port, I have a KD-55XF8596 TV set and the TV remote control works - there is a front "screen" in fact, just LED inscriptions for switching output modes via cable, via air, sound mode 2 (movie and music) where, comrades Sony, is the equalizer full-fledged?
    Cons
    • - subwoofer unfortunately just for show (it becomes audible only at 80-90% volume, when the bar is already yelling) - there is a separate sub volume level on the remote control, but it does not change anything at low levels of the overall volume. I am disappointed. If there was a wire for a subwoofer - I would have connected it better. - no equalizer settings - when playing via Bluetooth with Iphone XS max, the sound is flat, as if there is no bass at all, and the middle ones are generally blurry - I didn’t understand why the USB input was on the bathroom bar, I inserted external devices, it’s not visible on the TV set that there are audio or video files (but I think this is my handshake, I haven’t figured it out yet). - No encryption protocol (password) for bluetooth, connect neighbors, turn up the music to the maximum! - could put the simplest HDMI in the kit

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

But. The sound is very good in comparison with regular acoustics, and perhaps not only with it. In general, I am satisfied and recommend it to those who want to radically improve the sound of the TV for a reasonable price. I read reviews about the lack of subwoofer bass. In my opinion, everything is in harmony. Yes, it does not thump - but there is harmony in this. For the appearance put 4 out of 5 because. that there is a device that looks much more modern.

    Pros
    • A good device in its price range. The sound is nothing like the stock TV speakers. Hooray! I figured out how to finally add high frequencies. It's the Voice button, and the manual says, in a moronic way, that it "adds clarity to dialogue." Now using Clear Audio + settings + Voice adds high frequencies to this. In my opinion, these two adjustments, turned on at the same time, give the optimal settings. HDMI ARC lets you control volume control and on/off timing from your TV remote.
    Cons
    • Debility setting with a minimum of indicators, debility instruction. How to set it all up - only by trial and error. It's not that hard though.

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

It was a bad idea to buy this, money wasted.

I will give it back. The result of the purchase is disappointment and a waste of time on a future trip to return this G back to the store. It’s a pity they don’t have CT80 in stock, they would have exchanged it and almost half of the money would have remained. Before buying, I searched the Internet for information on what is better to take from these two models, but there were no answers.

    Pros
    • nothing
    Cons
    • Connected through the optics to the TV. When watching TV programs, the sound is slightly better than the dummy of the TV itself. The sub does not seem to work . I checked it - it still works, but like a dead one . (the TV is also Sony). When starting the PS4, the sub works fine, but still worse than the CT80 model, which is 50% cheaper and has a declared power of 80W, and this one says 300W! The CT80 also worked great when watching TV. There was no difference. But after 2 years of operation, the motherboard burned out (apparently Sony's illness), and the authorized service center could not repair it because there are no spare parts))) Also, ST80 from the remote control switched to bluetooth mode, and for this model you need to get up, come up and press your finger on the sensor))) I also thought, maybe when connected via HDMI, the arc will sound normal when watching TV, but . everything is the same - the sub is 95% dead. ps: CT80 material is better than this G .

It has some flaws but the product is usable.

I am a sound engineer by profession and I love good sound. Watched ads, decided to ate the sound on TV! Purchase was disappointed. The panel is cheap in terms of filling and performance, and this rubbish failed to surpass the built-in sound (60w) in the Phillips TV 9 series. Sony doesn't have quality speakers in general. There is experience in using their products from headphones to wireless headsets and centers. The sound is always very weak compared to competitors. I don't know why this time…

    Pros
    • 1. Compactness 2. Easy to set up 3. Tolerable, in a bad sense of the word, quality of music and videos on YouTube (8000r Microlab or Edifer speakers are more reasonable than this) 4. Perfect for inexpensive TVs with built-in sound (20w). If you like the brand and not pretentious hearing. 5. The sub sounds good and beautiful, if you evaluate without a panel .
    Cons
    • 1 Don't watch reviews and don't trust reviews. Go to the store and check it out! 2 The sound of the speakers is very flat. It's unpleasant to listen. 3. The sampling rate leaves much to be desired. Therefore, the sound is flat! (For TV this is not critical, the signal there is also flat and cut off, in HD TV format * PCM it will already be noticeable that the quality is so-so) 3 Sub can not be placed far from the panel, because hacky quality of the panel begins to overshadow the good quality of the subwoofer! 2. 300w here according to the principle - higher volume / worse sound (The signal-to-noise ratio here is below 85 dB. This is not advertised anywhere, apparently a secret!) 3 Movies in HD/BD 5.1 format are not broken into separate lines properly. And does not sum to linear 2.0. The voices and the background live a life of their own. An excellent trainer for a concert sounder. You sit increase or decrease the volume depending on the situation. 4. Bluetooth here is the old protocol! Therefore, there will be no crystal clear sound transmission from a phone or tablet. The quality is lost, there is no point in this bonus. Just play or show guests. They will love it for sure!

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

As a result, the device of "pleasure" at its price is an ordinary high-quality consumer goods, I did not expect that from SONY (I was seduced by the seller and the brand). I decided to compare it with Chinese active speakers (each the size of a subwoofer) bought 7 years ago for 3000 + bluetooth adapter (last year for 3000, which also has optics, a digital output and an analogue), the sound turned out to be better and more dynamic ((((

    Pros
    • Appearance Acceptable sound average price Wireless sub compactness
    Cons
    • There is no indication of the volume level (the only sign that something is being regulated is the flashing of the "display" when you press the buttons, it's very annoying, because you don't know at what volume the system is turned on, even on a Chinese radio for 500, but SONY has it "expensive" to make in the device for 12-15) The very minimum sound settings No analog inputs/outputs There is no way to control the device through the application (which would also be desirable from an essentially primitive device with a price of more than 10 thousand at the turn of 2022 .)

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Sounds pretty good for its price range. I bought it before I read the reviews on the market, went home with a purchase, read it and got upset, but when I connected it, I did not find the shortcomings listed earlier. The TV is connected via WiFi and the wireless sub does not affect its operation in any way. Phones also do not lose network connectivity. Didn't notice any out of sync with the video. The sound from the TV was not nearby (I have a Samsung 7 series). Connected via hdmi, the TV remote

    Pros
    • Appearance, sound quality
    Cons
    • Virtually no sound settings

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

If you only have a TV and want to get better sound, then in general a decent option. If before that you had, for example, some not too fancy with more or less normal speakers (for example, from an old music system), then you will be somewhat disappointed. Low frequencies are not very deep and are observed only at high sound volumes, there are medium frequencies, in principle, there are no special complaints about high frequencies. If you play via Bluetooth, then there is an opportunity to play…

    Pros
    • - Harmonious design - Ability to use as a Bluetooth speaker
    Cons
    • - Bass is present only at high volume, sound settings on TV are turned off when connected via HDMI (only one sound mode is available). - Does not always recognize the inclusion of TV - The color is not white, but rather cream or beige. Not that it was critical, but there is some disharmony with white TV.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

Also watched: JBL Cinema SB250 and Yamaha YAS-107 - originally planned to choose one of them, but after listening to SONY by chance - changed his mind (I didn’t consider Sony at all when I went to the store) LG LAS655K and LG SJ3 - did not like the design and sound "so-so". LG SJ6 - I really liked it, but the color was only gray (also "from the window") and the panel itself is very long. I considered up to 15,000, so to speak - the optimal solution (minimum price tag / acceptable sound…

    Pros
    • Great soundbar for the money. Everything connected as soon as I plugged it into the outlet (I didn’t take it “from the window”). The sound is great for such a small one.
    Cons
    • As cons, I will write down a small number of supported formats (when reading from USB) and the inconspicuous operation of the subwoofer at a volume of approximately less than 20-25%. Sound settings are fixed only.

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

I do not recommend spending my money on this.

Briefly. A wireless subwoofer interferes with Wi-Fi, and this is described in the instructions. Tried to connect in normal mode and in secure mode. All nearby wifi devices start losing connection. Sound settings are poor to disgrace. You can only adjust the master volume and subwoofer volume. Wasn't it possible to make the low-frequency boost more, otherwise it turns out that for a good bass you need to increase the overall volume, otherwise there will be a quiet buzz instead of bass. Very…

    Pros
    • Appearance
    Cons
    • wireless subwoofer, volume control

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

I'll write some info, maybe someone will be interested. I listened to some soundbars and compared with each other, one room, one trailer, my opinion: Up to 20 thousand. jbl 2.1, sony ht291, denon s314. JBl has a very well-opened stage, the sound comes out not only from the front, but also through the top, most likely there are mini phases ;) through a simple hole. Due to this, the sound seems to surround the viewer. It plays well, in its budget and segment, there is a bass, there is a…

    Pros
    • Price, Sound, bass, in general, an ordinary model.
    Cons
    • External, wretched display, and it’s not even a display, backlit lines, subwoofer design, overall appearance from the 90s

A normal device if your task is to significantly improve the sound of regular TV speakers, while there is no task to surprise guests with "huge cool speakers with fashionable nameplates." The device is also not suitable for those who like very (!) Loud music at parties (so that the glass trembles and the enamel of the teeth cracks). Although if you decide to watch a movie at full volume, you are guaranteed a knock on the battery. Do not even try to assess the volume in a large store - you will…

    Pros
    • The sound quality is far superior to the 100K (55") built-in SONY TV speakers. Simple connection. Wireless sub. You can listen to music via Bluetooth from your phone or computer. The sound is controlled from the TV remote control and turns on with the TV synchronously. You can put it on a shelf, you can hang it on the wall. After the third glass, you can easily dance to it in a small room (25 sq. M) under Stas Mikhailov.
    Cons
    • No authorization when connecting via Bluetooth. There is a suspicion that the neighbors can connect to the acoustics through the wall and cut something in the middle of the night. No wireless connection to TV (maybe in my case). HDMI (ARC) only. Sometimes the TV set loses synchronization with the acoustics and switches to the built-in speakers - the soundbar is turned off / on. This usually happens when switching sources heavily. So far, only the TV is working - there has never been a problem.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Cool solution for improving dry TV sound without having to buy a huge system from home. cinema. When properly configured, it's a thrill.

    Pros
    • Sound. I'm not a super audiophile, but I love quality sound. Here he is very good.
    Cons
    • Long setup of the connection between the soundbar and the subwoofer, Wi-Fi network conflict. Eliminated in half an hour, there are recommendations on the network
