This whole vacuum system. I've been traveling across the country and needed space in my Tahoe so I used these space bags. They work, but not for long. I had to send the first of these bags back as defective. I got a replacement right away and it worked. However, none of the packages lasted 2 weeks. I don't know if it was because they were in a hot car or something, but I don't see a good solution. When I crossed the whole country, there was little/a lot of air in all the bags.

Very fragile product. Excessive handling will damage/tear this very thin multi-layer pouch. A plastic bag with a beak down will deteriorate after a year of storage. It won't stay completely tight long enough to put in a container, but over time air will seep in again. I have purchased many of these sets from Walmart, Target and Revain to store seasonal clothing and all sets from different batches and production dates have been disappointing. Hanger Plastic doesn't break. Vacuum when hanging. Doesn't leak. But all competitors do. Expensive but get what you pay for. I've bought every vacuum hanging bag that Amazon sells, the rest either leak or the hanger clip breaks or they don't suck when hung or all these problems. I am very satisfied with this product. I bought a lot because we found leather bugs in our house this spring! For those of you who don't know what they are, they're worse than clothes moths.
