The fan works very well. I first bought a similar fan on eBay thinking I could save some money. No, just wasted money. This thing pulls a lot more air than cheaper fans. Don't make the mistake I made. Choose a fan from a trusted brand.

This is the best fan I have ever had. I use this ballasted product in a two speed configuration and it works great as the main fan on my e30 325i. The downside is that when I turn the fan on, it sounds like I have a turbine under the hood. I rarely put it on full power, so at my low speed it's very quiet and efficient. Only time will tell me more but I'm sure it will last a few more years because it is a quality product.

This is a great fan for V6. I don't think it draws enough air for a V8. It easily attaches to Griffion and Champion radiators with brackets and a fan spacer. This version is hermetic, i.e. protected from water and dust. Spal makes more powerful fans, but they are not designed for continuous operation and are not sealed. I had problems with my '86 Corvette overheating and although fitting a new radiator made things a lot better it still got too hot in traffic. This fan solved that problem. A standard fan spins at around 1700 CFM, but this one spins at 2400 CFM and that makes all the difference.
