Save space by using this genuine FTDI FT232RL USB to serial IC breakout to program your microcontroller. Has TX and RX LEDs that allow you to see serial traffic on the LEDs to verify the board is working. Designed to decrease the cost of (Arduino-compatible) development and increase ease of use. Includes auto-reset feature. The pins labeled BLK and GRN correspond to the black wire on the FTDI cable that is GND, green is DTR. Uses a SMD 6-pin header on the bottom, which makes it smaller and more compact

Works as advertised and delivered quickly.

This is part of a project one of our technicians is working on so I can't say more about it as he had to do his job or I would have heard about it. The part ordered was correct and was delivered quickly.

Ftdi proved easier than ch340

worked great! Connected there are no problems with drivers, win7 64b. Tried ch340 and it never worked. There were no problems with ftdi.

Ideal programmer/serial console for Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V

I use this with my Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V (also from SparkFun). It worked great. Drivers are loaded automatically. It allows you to program the Arduino and control the serial output.

Great product worked great unlike the other one I ordered.

Great product, worked great, unlike the other one I ordered cheap, turned out to be a fake chip which the new drivers stall on plugging in. Not this one, although authentic and fully functional.
