2012 F150 front door speakers. The connection to the F150 is a perfect match, but the connection to my aftermarket speakers is not. I had to cut this end, strip the wire and connect it to the speaker. It works and I'm glad I didn't have to cut the end of the factory F150 connection.

If Amazon recommended this to you on the pair of speakers you're looking for, I suggest you pay attention to the dimensions of the binding posts. It was said to fit my Rockford Fosgate 6x8 but it's too small. However, I got it to work by cutting off the ends of the terminals and splicing them together.

If you like soldering your wiring like me, buy this. I immediately cut the wires to the desired length and soldered them to the speaker terminals. Excellent quality connectors. Excellent quality copper wire. The tape that comes with it is also of good quality.

Perfect product for a quick installation. Some people say they are wired the other way around, for my Explorer 03 they were fine, checked the schematics. The only thing that bothers me is that when connecting they are too tight, I had to bend down a little. It was also the cheapest I could find and a free band what more do you need.

So they work, good to have an adapter but I had to cut the ends and add new ones as they were too small for the 6x8 speaker stands I bought for my truck would have. . I don't know what size the terminals are but they are really small and just don't fit me. After I changed the connectors they worked great.

So the white wire is the negative wire and the black wire is the positive wire, literally reversed. Oh, and crimp sockets should be cut off, discarded and replaced as they definitely won't fit the Rockford Fosgate P1683 or many other speakers. You will need to purchase the correct size flat crimp sockets for your speakers.

Purchased to install a factory speaker that was replaced by the previous owner. I was hoping it would fit as another review said it worked on his 2013 F150. I wasn't too happy when things didn't go the way I thought it would. It was a harder decision than I thought. At the same time, this element works, but I had to cut off all the plastic and make a plug. Everything works, just not what I was hoping for when I bought it.
