Great belt, the best in my rating

Great belt. I've had one from OD for years and decided to get another one in black. They sent the wrong size (two sizes too big) but scissors and a lighter fixed it. I'm glad it's not too small!

Pros
  • Quality belt bought two, one in coyote, one in black, perfect for holsters
Cons
  • Uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time

It's comfortable and handles transmission well

I'm in the legal community and this belt was a must. It's comfortable and handles gear well while distributing weight evenly. I use it as a hip and leg holster after hours and it offers some comfort and relieves back problems. * for me!

Pros
  • Sturdy and durable for use with handcuffs, a flashlight and possibly an on duty target holster.
Cons
  • it is not universal

Great strap for OWB holster

This is my second Spetsnaz belt. I wore a brown coyote belt for many years and wanted another in black. Lightweight and flexible, yet stiff enough to easily wear a belt holster. I have another operator harness 5.11 1.75", but it's heavy, the velcro doesn't hold up well and the small center section falls out of the buckle. For me, my "exploitation" is to put on a gun to get into the To run around town or on a hike. in the woods so Spec-Ops is perfect. I bought a size large. I have a 38" waist…

Pros
  • This is my fifth BDU. I wish they had made them dark blue.
Cons
  • It's not innovative

Great for edc: my review

I buy an XL belt and cut it to the right length. I have an edc iwb holster, when I remove the holster the belt is loose but I tighten it slightly and vice versa. I wore an expensive heavy duty tactical belt with a metal buckle for several months, had constant trouble getting my 5.11 belt loops through, and had a nightmare with velcro to adjust size.

Pros
  • I've been using it for many years.. shorted it a little and melted the end with a lighter to seal it.. has been working for more than 2 years
Cons
  • It is not functional

The buckle is a bit big but other than that they are great straps!

I was looking for a belt stiff enough to fit a concealed carry holster and adjustable enough to work well with a variety of clothing and wearing conditions, and based on recommendations from friends in the military Found this belt to hit the mark. It's just the right width to fill most 2" cargo belt loops (cargo shorts, blue jeans, tactical pants, Carhartt style work pants), really anything you wear with a BDU belt. c. I would have preferred a less bulky buckle for a more streamlined look, but…

I got one of these and I liked it so much I got a backup

I got one of these and I liked it so much I bought a got backup. My nephew needed a belt at an event so I took mine off to lend him; haven't seen since. My backup broke and I had to order a new backup. My dad was looking for a new build so I gave him my support; I had to make a new backup. My brother-in-law asked where I could get such a belt; I quickly ordered 1 and sent it to him. My father noticed that they come in different colors; now he has 2. My brother came to visit and needed a good…

Pros
  • that even the old can understand

Very disappointed I have 3 other Spec-Ops Better BDU belts (

Very disappointed I have 3 other Spec-Ops Better BDU belts (various other colors) and they are very stiff, durable and my favorite strap for work and play. But this one came out of the box and felt like wet noodles.I don't know if they changed the type of nylon or what but it's not the same quality as my other 3. I tried wearing it in the field and it folds up in the belt loops when worn! I HATE IT! I would give this belt 0 stars but it won't let me. Now don't get me wrong all my other SWAT…

Buckle won't snap in adjustment

I have several SpecOps BDU belts and am very satisfied. However, my last purchase was 1.75 instead of 1.5. I figured a wider sling would give my gun better support when carrying it. That's true, but the buckle isn't fixed in the setting. The strap slips instantly and only gets worse as the day goes on. I read several other reviews describing this but thought they had no experience with this type of belt. I was wrong. My 1.5 inch version is heavily fixed. 1.75 inch is not that strong.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Excellent belt! I usually use barbed wire for my belts, but this one goes better with my uniform. I recently lost some weight. Probably due to blood loss from the barbed wire. That means I need a new belt! This strap was good enough that I ordered another one in a smaller size to tighten my potato sack. Good product. Feels durable. Fits good. Stays tighter than a regular belt. Get one.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Long delivery
