Great replacement for the factory Nissan radiator.

Easy to install but like some others we had to slightly open the holes for the top fan cover. It works with both manual and automatic transmissions (we installed it in the mechanics, but there were also connections for automatic transmissions). Use the YouTube video as a guide, we found that removing the bottom fan cover first makes removal much easier (only 2 nuts on top to remove - no nuts or bolts on bottom). When reinstalling, install the bottom fan cover last (from the bottom if the…

Super happy: Radiator

I ordered this radiator when I stopped and noticed a distinct smell of antifreeze and upon closer inspection noticed a thin crack in the radiator. the cooler arrived within 2 days and all attachment points, hose connections were fine. The only difference from my original was that it had an integrated transmission oil cooler while my original didn't (stock transmission). The warranty depends on flushing the system, replacing the thermostat and radiator cap. Don't ask too much. This device is…

installation tips. Time 1-1.5 hours. Easy to make

2001 Frontier 3.3L SC Installation Tips: This will take about an hour. Have Casterol-Dex/Merc liquid and a funnel ready. Don't worry, the gear oil drains very slowly, you have time to work. Reuse the rubber bushings from the old radiator. To remove the straps you need a pipe wrench or pliers. Also a 10mm wrench for the bolts and COOLANT VENTILATION VALVE ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE. You'll need to drill the holes at the bottom of the heatsink a bit wider so the cover falls off nicely. Use a drill…

Perfect fit no leaks

I'm glad all the fittings were in the exact same position as the original fittings for my 2001 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner. There are two transmission lines on the bottom which were a bit difficult to remove but not too bad (I connected them by replacing the heatsinks with old AAA batteries!). Reinstallation was easier. Tip: It took me a while to figure out that there is a detachable part of the fan shroud on the bottom (bottom 25% of the fan shroud) that makes replacing the heatsink much…

Direct replacement for 2000 Nissan Xterra SE

Direct replacement for 2000 Xterra SE. IDEAL. Easy replacement, but if this is your first time be sure to take the bottom of the fan cover off. This allows you to easily pull it out and attach your inverted trans line to it. Click the 2 tabs inside and it snaps into place. Only. Buy a set of new clamps. I had to cut one off and reusing old clamps is just a waste of time. They are very cheap. They don't need new hoses if they're in good condition. Some may say otherwise, but I disagree. Check…

Exactly what I needed.

Installed on my 2000 2WD 4cyl Nissan Frontier. Pretty basic simplified instructions but they give you the right idea. Just watch the YouTube video to get a better idea if you're not sure. It's worth noting that other cars, like mine, have rubber grommets on the pins on the underside of the radiator to help stabilize it. You can remove them from the same pins on your old radiator and reuse them as long as they are intact. The same goes for the top two pins. Make sure you know what you're doing…

Perfect fit for 1998 Nissan Frontier Extended Cab with 4WD.

The product arrived in good condition. Wearing only gloves, vacuum up all the little styrofoam. You will need rubber bushings at the top (2 pieces) and bottom (2 pieces) of your old radiator or buy a new one. Use the rubber caps provided to seal the ends of the transmission lines after removing the old lines. This will prevent leakage while you remove everything and install the new heatsink. I had new hoses and clamps, but I reused the transmission lines and clamps after cleaning them with…
