These terminals would be great using a quality screw terminal. The clip they attached to the lid is pure junk. Instead I used high quality screw terminals and threw the Specter terminals in the trash. Some of the Specter products I've used over the years are good, but there are some that are nothing more than junk.

Works very well. I actually use them for 1/2 stainless steel vacuum hoses. I had to drill a hole in the ends to mount these clamps onto the 1/2 fittings. But they work great and look really good. I was able to hide the screw clip parts below so they weren't too visible. They seem well made for what they are.

After assembly these fittings look very nice. However, I had to separate them to attach a clamp to the fuel line I used it on. Without a little persuasion, it doesn't open wide enough due to the coating on the fuel line. After putting the clamp on the fuel line cap, they secured well and were installed. I am very happy with it.

These are the worst hose clamps (important part inside the chrome outer shell). They break, break, crumple, and then the screw is unscrewed once locked. I took it apart, installed Ideal Tridon clamps and it's much better. The body panel is cheaply made, covered with chrome. The press fit is very lame, screaming QC in the Specter. I'm not into chrome, I just want something to protect my joints from the clamp at the end of the hose. fake metal nuts.

I have to admit I saw the shiny chrome and forgot to think of the size of the holes when I ordered them. If an article says 3/8 and you know your hose is also 3/8, the problem is that you forgot the hose hole has 3 goddam figure eights. Not the hose. Since my new shiny chrome didn't fit, I had to remove the 3/8 hole nut, turn the clamp cap upside down and then tighten with the clamp bolt, meaning the shiny chrome hose cap is loose and moves around a bit, doesn't rattle or anything, but…
