Spectre Performance Adjustable Timing Small Review

I had a '79 Corvette that didn't have a timer. After determining the top dead center, I installed this marking with slotted holes so that I could align it with TDC. The rest was a prop that synchronized the engine.

The clock was great but I figured whoever built my motor put the scales in, there were 2 smaller diameters so it was too big. If you have a spare balancer this will work great.

I wasn't expecting much for $3 but I expected this thing to fit considering I'm using a Specter aluminum timing case cover which specifically states that this appropriate time display should be used. I had to "adjust" it a bit to fit the two screw holes on the lid, which meant I had to even out the roundness of the curves and get it to work. While it's no longer pretty and shiny, I believe it will still do its job. Luckily that's settled.

that is supposed to fit 6, 7, 8 inch balancers. On the smaller balancer, the time tab is so far removed from the timestamps that it's almost impossible to know where it actually stands. I bent the timestamps to be right next to the balancer and that helped, but it's still hard to tell where exactly it's pointing. More like 4 degrees. One of the screw holes attaching the adjustable timer to the base was also cut out.
