🔴 Spectre Performance (4641) 3" Header Reducer Gasket with Bolts: Enhanced Fit and Secure Installation Review

I have not used these header gears for their intended purpose. I used them as sleeves through the rear bumper to cover the dual exhaust pipes. Arrived great and looks great. I know this won't help you if you want to use them as a header reducer, but you can use them for other purposes if you have the imagination.

Contrary to the description, they DO NOT fit 3" exhaust AT ALL. See photo of a piece of 3" exhaust around the adapter. Also, I'm not flattered to accept 2-1/2" pipes. So I assume they expect you to put together some irrelevant stuff to make this work? My truck is in the top 3, working in the rain with an injured knee and can't do anything. Considering the added cost and delay of multiple exhaust purchases, it would be cheaper to take it to an exhaust dealer.

They don't stretch to fit over the pipes of the header! I ordered a Flowmaster exhaust and bought it to connect to my headers. When it came to cutting the pipe to the manifold I started searching and had to travel to another city just to flare up the pipes to connect to these manifolds. Make sure when ordering that you are ready to either buy couplers for them or have room to flare out the exhaust pipes attached to them!
