First, it works. If you buy one, it will drain all of your liquid, as was the case with me. If you modify it and upgrade the o-rings it will leak a little less.

I wouldn't buy this. It can't be installed properly so it won't seal and you have constant transmission fluid leakage. If you think you can use a magic sigil, you are fooling yourself. I am a master mechanic with over 40 years of experience. It's garbage. If I could rate -3 it would be it.

The oil dipstick in my old '78 Chevy truck broke and needed replacing. It's better than I wanted, I don't like chrome plating the engine in this old and reliable workhorse but I think a little bling wouldn't hurt. I have a pair for a similar item at the parts store.

Great looking handle. Keep in mind that it's almost impossible to fit the chrome tube exactly into the SBC. The chrome itself flows very strongly. The original SBC drive train is completely leaking and the TH350/400 cannot be reinstalled unless you pull the engine out! I just replaced a nice stick and used 3/4 chrome wire as the pipe cover! A very nice ending!

Restored the box and needed a new tube. Seemed like a good price. Transmission removed, restored and reinstalled. I thought I should use silicone but didn't. Wake up the next day after refueling and take about 2 liters for a test drive. Liquid runs down the driveway. I had to remove the bolt from the body to get it out, clean and siliconize that hose to stop the leak. It really sucks.
