I bought this Speedo unisex kids full zip sweatshirt hoody for my 8 year old because he prefers hoodies to a regular coat unless the weather gets really cold. Fit and style are very good. My son always looks good and is very comfortable to wear indoors on cold days. The jacket is very light. The sleeves are about the right length. It's a bit cozy in the arms for my 50lb 8 year old. Please allow for a size increase when ordering.

When I ordered the sweatshirt there was no size chart on this site so I went to the Speedo shop page here on Amazon and looked up another boys shirt to find their size chart. It is listed as a boys size 14/16. This "big" is more like a boys size 5 or 6! Which should have been xxs or xs according to Speedo's own chart. It's a shame because it's a really nice thick sweatshirt! It feels really well made and looks great in person.

My son is about 51 inches tall and weighs 52 pounds and the medium size fits perfectly, almost perfectly. If you would like this to last a little longer I would recommend ordering a size up. Hope this link helps. 5 Stars!
