Spellbinders S6 002 Nestabilities Matting Templates Review

A very useful set of rectangles for matting or when you just need precise, easy-to-cut rectangles for other art projects. Very happy with the quality, price and ease of use. Of course, you'll also need a Sizzix Big Shot or Spellbinder's Grand Caliber Cutter to use these punches. Both seller and stamps are highly recommended.

I can't believe how easy it is to overlay cards with these stamps. I wish I had waited that long to buy them! I'm an experienced craftsman, I have about 6 straight cutting tools. Always looking for that elusive, perfectly straight edge. With so many cutters, I found this to be a luxurious addition to my workshop. I've found these dies to work great in both my Big Shot and Cuttlebug. I love them so much I also ordered a Set A so I can make 1/8 inch rugs whenever I want.

I purchased this Spellbinders Nestabilities Matting Basics B die to use with my Matting Template A set. The only thing I wish they were a little stronger. I find her rather thin. But it said. I use both basic 5x7 mat sets A and B to make each card. Therefore, they are widely used. I intend to purchase a second set of base mats A and B 5x7 to have on hand. A must. I prefer 5x7 cards and that gives the handmade cards a WOW effect. I should add that I'm a graphic artist who had to cut illustration cardboard, matte boards, photo mats etc in college 20 years ago and I have Olfa knives and I usually hand cut everything on a healing cutting mat and I love them. I have about 30 stamp sets and a large Sizzix and they are priceless. I haven't bought another set, to be honest, 1/8 inch doesn't stand out. I suggest you buy one or the other instead of both…
