Classic Style: 👞 Sperry Authentic Original Black Leather Review

The color does not correspond to the real Sahara. I wore them to the Sperry store and compared them to their Sahara and mine looked so fake. The right shoe is wider than the left and falls off when walking no matter how tightly I tie the laces. I didn't put them on immediately after buying them, otherwise I would have sent them back. Very disappointed with the purchase, better pay full price and buy direct from Sperry

Need casual/fashion loafer style casual shoes. These shoes look good and have adequate arch support. I would buy again.

I've worn Sperry pumps since a co-worker introduced me to them in the mid '80s. The quality, durability and comfort/fit of the shoe hasn't changed over the years. Sperry is a trusted swim shoe brand. Thank you Sperry.

Bought 2 pairs of these shoes for my husband. He wears these shoes every day. He claims they are a bit tight at first but once you wear them they are loose enough to fit perfectly.

I tried the plushware version, which is very attractive and practical. But I needed a large size. I've never bought a wide one in my life. I didn't notice the vegan version (no leather) either. I returned it and got this one in return. Very happy.

My husband has very wide feet and it is very difficult to find comfortable shoes. He usually wears EEE/EEEE width. We ordered half a size up, x-wide. We like the look of the lighter boat. It should usually go dark brown as x-wide doesn't come in nicer shoes. Very happy with this purchase.

I've worn show boats my whole life and tried many brands and styles. They are very comfortable, soft yet durable, well tailored and made from quality materials. They aren't the cheapest but I've done away with cheap fake boats that don't last long so I'm very happy with them.

I like the Sperry brand. This shoe arrived with an anomaly in the leather on the upper of the left boot and I had to return the item due to this escape.

I've had topsiders that have lasted 2 years in the past. This pair had the toe of the sole torn outside the seam and sometimes stuck to the ground when walking. This happened in the first 6 months. Quite a disappointing affair for the quality of a shoe that used to be reliable.

The sock turns out to be smaller when "breaking in" than we would like. I use stretch in them to keep my toes comfortable when I'm not wearing them. I'm sure after a while they will feel as good as my old ones.

I have worn Sperry boat shoes for many years. They are very comfortable and durable. I always wear two pairs. One for work at our rural mountain cabin and one for social events. These shoes take a lot out of me, but they always look good even when I have to wash and dry them. Excellent value for money and quality.

I wore them less than 6 times and the front sole came off. I used to have a pair that lasted a few years. I hope this is not a new product quality from Sperry.

Don't buy these shoes. The sole fell off after 30 minutes of wearing. It's hard to find black shoes. These are not true Sperry Topsiders. They are fakes. Don't waste money

These shoes are excellent value for money. I spent double the bucks and they didn't feel as good with the identical look. And this brand actually wears better than the more expensive brand I bought.

They fell apart within a few weeks. I've tried multiple times to get either a replacement or a refund. Nothing. No help. I give up.

Sperry makes the upper the most durable, and it's real leather, not "leather." Look for random offers running through Revain to avoid Sperry's outrageous list prices.

The quality you expect from Sperry is top notch. I get through the shoes pretty quickly and this pair lasted just over a year before one of the soles came off. This is my daily hiker (except for bad weather in the Northeast, which is quite common).

I haven't bought them since the early 80's but now that I'm approaching retirement age I'm spending more time on fishing boats and don't want to worry about slipping on the casting platform. I wear a 9 1/2 D and they stocked a 9 1/2 W. Fit is good, fingers aren't crooked. Wide enough at the front, but the shoe doesn't dangle at all at the back.

My husband really likes his new Sperry shoes. He will buy more in the future. Unfortunately, they sent us completely different shoes than we ordered. Upon our return, the correct pair was received.
