I haven't bought them since the early 80's but now that I'm approaching retirement age I'm spending more time on fishing boats and don't want to worry about slipping on the casting platform. I wear a 9 1/2 D and they stocked a 9 1/2 W. Fit is good, fingers aren't crooked. Wide enough at the front, but the shoe doesn't dangle at all at the back.
