. Bought a Sperry from JC Penney and loved it. However

I bought JC Penney's Sperry about 4 years ago and loved it. However, this couple is a lamb compared to them. It's poorly made and doesn't justify the price. When I put them on the sides kind of fold in if I don't use a shoehorn. They are more comparable to a similar pair I buy online for around $30. To put it mildly, I am disappointed. After some use I will write a review.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Some problems

I have bought Sperry's many times over the past ten years.

I have purchased Sperry's many times over the last ten years in different styles. I've always worn either the 8-1/2 or the 9 so I ordered the 9 and to say the least they run very small. Okay, so are you coming back for a bigger pair? Well, maybe not. The leather in these shoes feels as thin as tissue paper. So, they're going back!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Concise Instructions

Cheap Venetian?

I used to have Venetian shoes but they fit better, they were beautifully covered with deerskin and side overlays. The best comfort for those who don't wear socks. They were thin and neat. No comparison! I think someone has a good name and I wasn't asking for a cheap price or fit. Topsider changes manufacturer? Sorry, but don't compromise on quality!

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Approximately

Very comfortable shoes. I took comparative measurements

They fit exactly like all my Sperrys but the comfort is amazing. That being said I have to give some sizing info: I wear 12D New BalanceA size 11D Allen Edmonds For Sperry's I wear 10.5M sizes always run small.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Nice shoes, but too tight

The shoes are not to blame. My husband has Parkinson's disease which causes swelling in his ankles and feet. He was disappointed that he couldn't fit it on his foot, normally a size 11. Unfortunately this beautiful shoe had to be returned.

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • Modern

Shoes fell apart after 1 month

Driving shoes are notorious for having scuffs on the toes but in less than a month (if only worn 5-10 times) the heel was completely worn out. I have returned these shoes and will continue my search for something more permanent.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Very expensive

Comfortable and durable

Great casual shoe. Very comfortable and well made. The second couple (the first retired to work in the yard). This year also as a Christmas present for my son. Revine was the best price.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • No shape required
