Poorly made - sports water bottles

The cap doesn't fit and leaks when pressed hard while running. However, I have found that if you keep the belt low - around the hips, not the waist - it doesn't pinch as much or slide off the belt. When I walk with a belt around my waist, the bottle slips and leaks.

Pros
  • Nice packaging

Jump too hard. for sports water bottles

I used this bottle at the 2020 LA Marathon and it cracked too much. I ended up holding it all the time because it was very uncomfortable. It fell off a couple of times when I was attaching it to the SPI belt. I would not recommend this to anyone doing long distance activities!

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

give preference to older people.

I already have one but I ordered this one online and it is slightly different from the same brand. I ran a half marathon with him. First time I used it and during my run it fell off while my original stayed in place as always. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was gone until I reached for a drink.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Very disappointing.

Very disappointing. It doesn't catch on my waistband when running and lands on the ground too often. When it hits the ground, it gets scratched and scarred, and then those sharp, rough spots rub and irritate my skin and clothes. I end up holding onto what I'm trying to avoid. This might work for you if you're a slow runner, but otherwise don't waste your money or time on it.

  • Build quality

Not Worth It - Sport Water Bottles

I run with the Spi Belt regularly and thought it would be a good idea to get an extra water bottle to clip to my belt. In the first five minutes of my first run with a water bottle, it slipped so many times that I decided to just hold it in my hand. Also my whole side was wet because the bottle was leaking everywhere. I decided to give him another chance in another race and the same thing happened. save your money Don't buy this water bottle.

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • No Vending Machine

Not well designed!

I've been doing a search for running water bottles for the past few weeks and most have come back, but I can just leave these as they seem to work. The hook design over the strap is great, the bottle is curved to fit snugly against the body, well thought out, but the spout placement is unfortunate. The curved spout design pushes you a little to the side, if the spout were vertical you would have a clear winner. This is the best clip bottle I've found so far, cheap and good quality so I'm…

jumping around falls. Doesn't work as intended.

I wanted a small water bottle to accompany my running belt on longer runs. I've tried running this twice, now it's hooked up to the SPIbelt it was designed for. Both times he jumps and then falls. I'm fed up with my natural waistline and am also much lower, sitting low on my hips - none of them work. I had to attach it bottle side to my skin and on the inside of my tights to keep it from moving as much. After I drank from the bottle, it bounced a little less, but still didn't stay on the…

Doesn't move when I use this trick

I've been using an SPI water bottle without a strap when I have a smartwatch for a while. I also noticed that it only slides with the SPI strap to hold the water bottle. Then I realized what that big plastic shaft was for. I draped it over my running shorts and SPI belt and let it fit snugly against my skin, then pulled it back up to my thigh so my hands wouldn't touch it. The problem is solved! I now run with a full bottle of water without an SPI belt using this trick and it involves sitting…

Great for those who walk long distances

I am a hiker not a runner. I was worried it would bounce based on some of the other reviews, but so far I haven't had any issues - probably because walking doesn't produce as much bouncing. I understand why this doesn't work for a fast runner, but it's great for power walking. I clip this to my fanny pack, I haven't tried clipping it to my shorts but I think it will be fine. The only time it didn't feel good was when I thoughtlessly leaned forward or something and it immediately slipped off…
