📀 50 White Inkjet Hub Printable Taiyo Yuden TYG03 DVD-R 16X 4.7GB 120Min Spindle Review

I ordered this when my burner was running Verbatim I knew it was bad when Taiyo Yuden didn't like it. Got a new drive and everything has been working great ever since.

The blank DVD spindle I received has burned flawlessly so far. I burned half of the 50 discs on the spindle and each of them recorded flawlessly - there isn't a single stand underneath. I am completely satisfied.

The first disc I put in didn't recognize the possibility of recording at 4x in my normal mode, like a CMC (AKA TY) Disc would be the case. . The slowest speed I could record at was 6x and there was an error midway. I've never had a TY drive fail during a write. This is not a Taiyo Yuden TY Code MID TYG03 Disc. Period. I burn hundreds of TYG03 discs a year and this has never happened with real TYG03 discs. They will be returned soon.

Taiyo Yuden media are the best blanks money can buy. Sure, every now and then you get a bad blank, but that's to be expected with a 50-piece set. Most drives I have work great. If you are looking for good quality, inexpensive blank DVDs, you will probably want to buy this brand.

Good price, but I don't think these blank DVDs are really Taiyo Yuden brand. Out of 50 discs I had about 8 that didn't burn properly and my program reported a write error! The price savings are gone because the discs can no longer be used after burning! The print quality is ok. Do not buy this brand of DVD again.
