Works best for watersports

This worked well for our 2 year old in the pool. We kept him anyway, just looking for something that might give him a little more security.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Does what it says on the tin for a life jacket

This is a great piece of exercise equipment. No life jacket, as clearly stated. Simply provides extra support for a child who already has a rough idea of the necessary movements.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Not for non-swimmers

What we didn't like was that kids didn't swim face up. Otherwise, if they could still swim, that would be great. We will come back and then buy it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons

Perfect - not too thick or bulky

Bought for my 16 month old grandson, it's great. This is not a true life jacket so supervision is required but provides enough buoyancy to keep it comfortable in the water. love it

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Perfect size for young children

It was the perfect size for my 16 month old grandson. He wouldn't sit in little baby floats, but that didn't bother him at all. Definitely recommend it. We make him wear it every time we go out in the summer because we have a pool and I'm afraid he'll fall in. It was the perfect solution.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Secret

It's so high quality and adorable!

Bought as a gift but was very small for a baby (my fault! The birthday boy is so big!) BUT my friend gave it back to my 8 month old boy and I'm looking forward to giving it to him to use ! Very loveable! We have been using this brand for swimming lessons since my baby was 4 months old! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties

The vest is not safe: swimming

Although I had high hopes for this vest, it is actually very dangerous. My son, who is the correct size for this vest, leaned towards the edge of the pool and fell on his face first. This vest kept him afloat, but face down. Luckily we were nearby and were able to pick him up safely. However, we will not use this. This is dangerous and gives a false sense of security!

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Great life jacket!: Watersports

My 2 year old doesn't wear life jackets and is small for his height and weight. I'm so glad I found this vest! He likes to wear it. Pros: Lays flat for storage, dries quickly, easy on and off, cute pattern. Cons: Not sure how "life saving" this would be for my 2 year old who was 100% unable to save himself. , but it's lively enough to buy you a few seconds to jump after it if need be.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • I don't remember

My child is face down in this jacket

I bought this for my 2 year old to wear as an extra safety feature at our public pool and lake. Today we used it for the first time. I put him on my lap to show him how to swim and he was flying face down excitedly and couldn't pull his face out of the water or turn around. I got on it as fast as I could, ripped it off and will be walking around with another guy. It's not a safety device, it's a death trap. My baby couldn't roll over or stand up, he was literally stuck face down. I do not…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy
