🎅 Spode Christmas Tree Mug Set: Enhance Your Festive Celebrations Review

Bought to replace my wife's 25 year old Spode Christmas set. First of all, she loves them and it's good to have a full set again. But the old stuff is made in England and these are made in China. I also noticed that the plates are a bit thinner than in England. Again, not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning. If you are missing parts from your Spode holiday set this makes a great replacement.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this set. I have an original England set of 20's that I have had for many years that I wanted to add to my set. These dishes are lighter and there is also a noticeable difference in color. There is a yellowish/beige tint instead of the more white/light cream color of my original set. Just a note. This year, 4 additional soup bowls were needed for the holiday. Just received them today and was disappointed to learn that these soup bowls were made in China and not England as were all my 16 sets of dinnerware and matching plates and bowls. The shell's ivory color is slightly darker than those made in England, and the green rim extends to the end of the shell. Unlike the ones made in England which have some ivory at the very end.
