Waste of money, good outdoor option

Does not come with drawbar as shown. You need a separate hitch, there's nothing wrong with that, but you need a non-standard hitch.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not sure

You can't use the ball until you remove the bike rack.

It needs an extra clutch if you plan to place it under the ball in use. Once you've attached it, you can no longer use the ball until you remove the bike holder.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Does not appear to fit bike rack

Image shows bike rack and hitch adapter. Not this case. You will ONLY receive a bike rack. Very deceptive. The ball hole is smaller than traditional hitch balls. Finding the right ball and hitch is difficult. They will probably return the stand. I called the seller direct and they said it comes just like the picture. Very frustrating!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Good construction, difficult to install

You will need to purchase a ball hitch to install this strut if you don't already have one. You can lock bikes by buying their lock and locking the hitch insert pin, but you can't stop anyone from taking the ball off and taking the bikes and hitch. Also, the rack rotates on the ball, so I had to use a U-bolt to keep it from twisting and the bikes from touching my SUV. Nice solid construction, too bad it doesn't slip straight into the clutch.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine

Waste of money best in the trunk and trunk

Supplied without ball head as shown. You need a separate hitch, there's nothing wrong with that, but you need a non-standard hitch.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This requires an additional clutch if you plan to place it under the ball currently in use. Once you've attached it, you can no longer use the ball until you remove the bike holder.
