    Great for skating

    I used them on figure skates. Pulls well and tight. I had thicker laces and was a bit worried but they hold my skates up well.

    Skate Laces for Skating

    Replace the Laces in Your Old Skates I'm a robot for sledding in the winter. Perfect for what I need. They appear to be good laces that I would buy again for my shoes etc.

    The laces were dirty TWICE

    Came without packaging, the laces are all dirty. You can easily see the schema from the wrapper. To update! Exchanged them for free. The new set is even dirtier than the first! I give up!

    Ok but measure carefully

    They fit well but were a bit short on my skates (men narrow 6.5 Jacksons) even though I ordered the longest version. They tie, but hardly, so be careful if you need larger skate laces.

    Tubular Athletic Shoelaces

    I am replacing a pair of shoelaces that came with my son's Reidells. A&Rs are a bit more stretchy and have an open center/tube shape (Reidells are flat) and a shinier and more synthetic feel. They lie flat when laced and don't twist when laced and untied.

    My Favorite Roller Derby Laces

    I've tried many different roller derby laces and so far these are my favorites. They are quite long and thin. so many derby laces are very thick and i don't like it. Other flimsy laces I've tried such as: Antique waxed laces or Sparks Derby Laces fit but wear out too quickly (although I lace fairly tightly and there are a few places that rub and this is where all my laces start to fray and sweat). Break). Good quality skate laces. Please make them red!

    It's not cotton and it's not very wide; otherwise good laces!

    These are good laces, better than the standard laces that came with my skates. The listing wasn't clear what the actual fiber content was and now that I've laced it into my boots I realize I threw away the packaging. It was synthetic though, I don't remember if it was nylon, polyester or a combination. I prefer the wider cotton laces, although they're a little less durable, they don't leave blisters on your hands from repeated skate tying (or worse, cuts).

    Great short laces for little feet!

    My 3 year old daughter just started skating and the laces that came with her boots were awfully long - practically long enough for adult boots, not small size 8 boots. It took me forever and a whole day to lace it up. Thank goodness Revain makes it easy to buy quality laces. The 63" size (at least 30" smaller than what came with my daughter's skates) is perfect, with enough room to grow and use on other skates as she grows.
