I liked my black pair enough that I turned around right away and ordered a pair in navy. My slacks are between a size 12 and 14 and these swim shorts in a 14 were the right size for my 170 lb, 5'8" frame. If you are between sizes or have some doubt about sizing, I'd say go up one size. I needed the size 14 to fit my thick waistline without making the dreaded muffin-top globs above the waist. I love the ruched sides and the little tie strings. These are comfortable swimming shorts. I think it is important to note that if you are trying to swim laps with these you may need to wear some sort of bottoms underneath otherwise the seam will ride into areas that are pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, I prefer these to actual swim bottoms that come with tankinis or bakinis.

I rarely write reviews for products - but I was so disappointed in these swim shorts I want to warn others. Although they are nice looking when you put them on, they have very bulky seams that join in the crotch area making them EXTREMELY uncomfortable to sit down in them. I'll be returning them and looking for more comfortable swim shorts!

I was looking for a modest swimsuit bottom and had looked at brands such as Title Nine, but their prices were too expensive for something I wear only a few times a year. I have large thighs that normally don't look good in "boyshorts", but this style looks nice and fits comfortably. I originally bought the aque and liked them so much, I bought a second pair in fushia.

The product maybe was too big but the legs rolled up and since it’s line d with white fabric. It looked really bad when the legs kept rolled. This suit really wasn’t comfortable either . I purchased it because of the color variety that this brand offered, it really not satisfied with the fit.

They're not going to go super high or anything. But for a 40+ yo woman, they work great for going over swimsuits when you want to be more covered up, but not too covered up. They have an inner panty lining, so it's all secure. Sometimes I use them for working out at home.

Love these swim shorts! I have always had an issue with my "cheeks” hanging out of a regular swim suit bottom, especially if it was high cut. These totally solve that problem, yet they look very feminine and cute. I appreciate those who shared their measurements. I am 5’2 and 145 pounds and the large fit perfectly. I just ordered a second pair in another color.

I love the idea of shorts that are more appropriate at family events, over booty shorts that show off my butt(not cool for my 2 boys). When I first tried them on, I was worried that I may have been wrong to order a size up. Now that I have worn a couple times I do like the extra coverage and length.

Great fix except for the crotch. True to size but digs into the crotch area. I did see someone else mentioning this in their review but thought it was just that person's fit- No digs in crotch.

These are AMAZING! I bought them for when I joined my toddler in the pool for swim lessons and I absolutely love them. I am 5'4" and 185 lbs and wear a size 14. The XL fit perfectly and did not create a muffin-top situation. And they stay put while in the pool! The fabric is not thin and is well made. Win win. I am going to purchase these in other colors for our summer vacations.
