Spring Loaded Adjustable Residential Door Review

Bought for a door that sits higher than most and the regular doorstops would slide right under the door. This product works so well!

Does not stand still. The door just slams shut. Also, the adjustable piece lowers when pressure is applied, so the door just pushes it down and goes right over it.

The only doorstop I could find for my door that had a large 2 1/2 inch clearance from the floor. It has a strong spring and rubber on both sides that hold up well

I got this to gradually introduce the new cat. I have at least two inches of room at the bottom of my door. My other cats were able to push their way through the door. It works in the sense that she holds the door open. It doesn't work very well when you're trying to portray cats lol.

At first it seemed to me that it was too expensive for a doorstop. However, I tried at least 3 others from the dollar store that didn't work as well (door moved/slid gradually) or just weren't wide enough to hold one of my doors open. This one works so well and is of good quality; I think it's worth the money.

I will be welding in my garage so the doors will be needed for ventilation. In order to keep strong winds out of my work area, I have to partially open the side door, not fully. There is an o-ring on the underside of the door and this spring loaded stopper is ideal for preventing the door from moving in any direction without damaging the o-ring. Can be easily engaged/disengaged with one foot, no need to kneel to use hands. Very happy with this product.

I measured the gap in my door to make sure I got the right size doorstop. My toddler is constantly locked in his room and can't reach the doorknob to get out. My garage door has a spring hinge that closes it. Sometimes that's good, and sometimes the door has to be left open. This doorstop is ideal for such an entrance.
