We need a juicer that will squeeze all the juice out of a thin-skinned lime. This one doesn't work as it still leaves about 1/4 inch of space between the two pieces when fully depressed. We begin to think that the ideal option does not exist. In addition, the black surface seems to be scratched or damaged in some way when you press it for the first time. I wonder if the coating will come off in the juice.

This is a well designed product. Heavy metal is really good at handling high torque. I had a fairly large orange and it took two hands to put the two sides of the handle together. There was no awkward slippage of the hinge. Once I got the handles close enough, I was able to squeeze pretty hard without letting go of the handles. If you need a manual citrus juicer, you won't find anything better than this product.

*I received this item for free but this is not biased against my review which has stress cracks and wear. Saw this one and decided to give it a try. I've been using it for a few nights and am very impressed. It's a very solid and heavy block, not at all what I expected and it crushed lemons with ease. My only complaint and reason for 4 stars is that the holes are too small and I found I had to shake to get all the juice out. Holes are pretty easy to "plug up". I have a feeling they could be a…
