The Wii's wireless controls were starting to weaken, so we switched to wired - much better, but the cable was a bit short. These extenders are great and we can now comfortably sit on the couch and waste time with our old Gamecube Zelda games (why isn't Ocarina of Time on Switch?).

They (as mentioned in many reviews) do not match the original specifications. Both connectors are too small, so the male end is loose when connecting to a console or Wii U GC adapter, and the female end is too tight and requires a bit more force to connect the controller. I bought four packs and one of the cables didn't work at all. It's cheap if you really need them, but I'm hoping to find something closer to the original.

I just 3D printed an extension for my dock using the GameCube adapter, but running the GameCube cables through the living room to the TV stand is a hassle (especially with 3rd party GameCube controllers) . and their often very short cables).
