More compact and more stable than the MS7701B Tripod Base

I just replaced my MS7701B Tripod Mic Stand with this MS7201B and I immediately liked it a lot more. The round base takes up much less space than a tripod base and feels much more stable; Even when tilted nearly 45 degrees, the weighted round base stands upright, but the tripod stand falls down with the mic. I like the round base on the bottom of this one. It weighs down the stand very well. It does NOT feel cheap and very sturdy when I lean on it, rock it back and forth or just let it sit upright. As for other people who broke theirs and then left negative feedback. What the hell are they doing with their gear? Everything will break if you abuse…
