Disassembled

I was so excited to get my first clay extruder it worked excellent at first but after a few uses the handle fell off. I tried sticking it back on but nothing I use was strong enough.

Pros
  • Multipurpose - Suitable for many technical projects such as polymer clay, clay, muffins, bread dough, sugar paste etc.
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

2nd use broken

I used this for polymer clay extrusion. I always condition properly so the clay has good texture. I used a 6 circle disc and it worked fine the first time but got stuck the second time and I had to take it apart to find out that the part pushing the sound down was turned to the side and the Screw that held him, the handle was completely broken off, but simply unscrewed. I'm glad it was cheap but it will be sent back. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Use in cake cutting technology and sugar production.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Much better than Syrine style

I bought a syringe extruder that requires you to manually push the plunger to push the clay out. It took too much strength and my hands hurt so much that it was difficult to do anything. Then I see someone on YouTube using this type of extruder. Holy Crucian! All you have to do is turn the handle and you will extrude the clay. The plunger is threaded so you can apply more force when turning it than just pushing it (physics in action). It is much easier. There is an O-ring around the piston to…

Pros
  • Rotating design, very energy saving. Easy to use, can be disassembled into three parts, easy to clean with soap and water.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
