The edges of the teeth are not smoothed/polished and are therefore very sharp along the entire length of the teeth, not just at the tips. I open the Amazon packaging, the set comes first in a small box. Then the forks with rubber bands, as well as the spoons and knives, all individually wrapped. Got them yesterday so haven't used them yet, will update the review on durability and how well they work and such. Although they seem good.
