Incredibly sharp. It also looks beautiful. The scissors cut very well. I've only had them for a week so I can't say how they will hold up. I chose not to wash them in the dishwasher as it ruined all my other knife sets even though they are "dishwasher safe". By far the best knife set I've ever owned.

My girlfriend loves these knives. The knives are extremely sharp right out of the box and I think they look great and are a good thickness too. We do not machine wash and dry the knives immediately after hand washing. These knives are great value for money and I think they can compete with knives that cost twice as much.

It was a great purchase! The whole set really impressed me. They are very sharp and heavy (not too heavy but a good weight). I wanted an all metal set because I've found in the past that wooden or plastic handles break very easily. For me it was the perfect set. Worth every penny and will definitely buy from this company again.

My husband spent a lot of money on Calphalon knives which in my opinion NEVER cut. We bought quite a few sharpeners and my husband spent quite a bit of time sharpening them just to cut the same thing. abominable. I took a chance and mostly thought that given the price they would surely be awful! BUT IT WAS NOT! They are amazing. You can't go wrong with these knives. I like the way they feel in hand with the engraved metal handle.

I love this set. It feels luxurious, albeit at an average price. The blades arrived safe and sound and well packaged. I love how strong the knives feel in my hands. I've used almost all of them and they're great. Scissors fully extendable for easy washing and drying. First impressions say a lot and my first impression was the butcher deck which was the first thing I drew. It was noticeably darker than the golden oak you see in the promotional photos, more of a dark maple/more orange than gold, and didn't quite match my cabinets like I'd hoped, secondly the silver front label plaque.
