Works well. in Cleaning tools

Follow the instructions: Wet first, then use. Personally, I still prefer my sponge on a stick, which I made using a chopstick, sponge, and hot glue gun. But the telescopic handle is very convenient.

Pros
  • Elegant design

  • Style 90

Couldn't stand it: Housewares

Received in January. It's May and the sponge has come loose from the mail. It will not stick. I'll try to use some kind of glue but considering it will get wet I'm not sure that will work.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Functionality

A useful tool for the potter.

A unique pottery tool. The sponge is different, softer and probably more absorbent than what I've seen and used. It's probably better for removing water from a deep pot, but I liked the previous one for its ability to smooth out seams in a handmade pot. However, it is a very useful and versatile tool.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

An indispensable accessory for throwing wheels!

Ideal for removing excess water from the inside bottom of clay pots while being thrown, especially if the neck/hole is too small for your hand! I would like the jaws to be a little shorter, maybe about 2/3 the current length, as they tend to "bend or fold" with use. Also buy a set of replacement sponges when they wear out.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Working Speed

Great tool for both hand building and throwing

I use it to smooth the inside of small boxes and tall cylinders when building by hand and to collect excess water from the inside of narrow throw pieces. It is excellent for both purposes. With the telescopic handle you can work very well on the inside of high parts. It's a little bigger than I thought, but Xim already has it. All in all a really good buy.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Nothing

Better for right-handers

Well that was unexpected. I didn't think it was a thread sponge. It turns in a tight pot. Oh, did I mention I'm left handed? Oops, I'll probably stay tuned. Well, if you're throwing with your right hand, keep that in mind. Left handed. well, not so much. Seller is fine as mentioned, if you are right handed then proceed. Oh, for those of you wondering. My wheel turns in the "other" direction

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Rock. in Housewares

This is a great product. Many sponges on a stick are poorly attached and will move when you try to use them. That hard rock. No accidental rotation. I even use it instead of a throwing stick for tall skinny pots. I'm sure this puts extra stress on the sponge, but it's holding up. Like I said, it's solid rock. No wonder, everything I have bought from this manufacturer is very well made. The telescoping aspect also makes it easy to use and store.

Pros
  • All is well!
Cons
  • Expensive

Works well, read instructions.

Like. I know it sounds silly reading the instructions on a sponge, but the packaging says to soak it before use. This is probably why some people are noticing absorbency issues. Get it wet first, and that's great. Also, I'm left-handed and turn the steering wheel clockwise. I just made sure I tightened the sponge and it never came loose after multiple uses. The bad reviews on here almost put me off buying it, but now the low ratings make me ashamed. Several people in my studio use the same tool

Pros
  • The best in my niche
Cons
