    Perfect size for our paddler

    This mat is perfect for our new laminate floor paddler. It's thin enough to be machined and thick enough to be durable. I had no breaks or other problems with the rower moving on it. Big plus, no smell. I bought a thicker pad from Home Depot but after 2 weeks in the garage I still couldn't stand the smell so I never brought it indoors.

    Exactly what I need!

    The low vents in my basement ceiling meant I had to align the treadmill with the descending stairs. This would pose a tripping hazard other than the treadmill being folded when not in use. I needed the same in a feed and I got exactly what I wanted. It unfolds when the treadmill is in use and folds easily when not in use. No carpet wear and no tripping! Bonus points for no strong plastic smell!

    FITS SOME EQUIPMENT BUT NOT OTHERS

    This lightweight "soft" mat works great with my XTERRA ERG600W rowing machine. For medical reasons I had to replace my rowing machine with the Spirit XE195 elliptical, which is a great piece of equipment that I really enjoy working out on. However, the rower weighed 87 pounds plus 29 pounds of water (116 pounds total), while the elliptical weighed 170 pounds. When I'm on the elliptical, every complete movement makes a creaking noise on the mat. If the mat were firmer the squeaks would surely go

    High quality but expensive button mats

    We LOVE these mats. But I only give 4 stars. hmmmmm, well, to be honest, these are expensive carpets. especially if you had to buy 3 pieces. The quality is excellent. They allow you to move your gear around much easier than trying to just do it on the ground and without scratching. It took about 48 hours unfolded to flip all the folding combs a few times, but other than that they were good to go.     I ordered two of these for bench and rowing machine. I was worried that the creases might be a problem, but based on the good reviews I ordered them anyway. Well, actually they are a problem. Carpets never lie flat and flat on the floor. They are quite thin so any weight will cause them to curl up as expected, and any movement; and I mean EVERY movement causes the folds to straighten up and create a tripping hazard.     Great rug at a reasonable price

    I bought this mat to protect my rug from a rowing machine when a friend wisely advised me to buy it for that reason alone. It feels nice and thick, lays flat, doesn't budge an inch when using the machine, and has also shown to withstand pet trampling. The vacuum cleaner didn't damage it when I vacuumed around the edges and most importantly the carpet underneath is perfectly safe.     Big enough to be useful

    Finally a fairly wide carpet. Wide enough for a man. Actually a small sweaty man. Sweating on the carpet isn't cool. I work part carpet and part tile/wood, just souks.
