🔧 Enhanced Control with Standard Motor Products CBS-1208 Combination Switch Review

Installation went according to plan BUT not very happy with the quality of the product. When I operated the turn signal, I quickly noticed that the lever was not quite in the middle. I have to give him a little nudge to get him back in the middle. MAKE SURE you order the correct switch! I swore I ordered a multi-function switch with automatic headlights, but not this one!

The box became famous when it came here because of the bad packaging. However, the actual part seems to be of terrible quality. When you turn the fog lights on and off it looks like the knob is about to break and it doesn't work like it did from the factory because you actually have to push the knob back instead of it automatically turning on and just twisting.

You know, when these people honk at you because you turn around and don't tell them, this device solves that problem. No more middle fingers when I slow down and turn around, just a friendly wave when I let her know I'm about to turn. Now, just if more people bought and used it, the streets would be a lot easier to navigate!

Installation videos for this unit are available online and are very easy to install - just 5 screws and around 10 minutes total. My problem is that it worked fine for a few weeks and then the left turn signal didn't turn off automatically (I have to turn it off manually by pressing the button). So not sure about the overall quality - maybe I shouldn't have gone with the cheapest option (others are available online and at Revain).

I just managed to install this last weekend. It's a shame because I can't return it anymore. Fits 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This was initially not the case. It seems to have risen normally, it just didn't work. I pulled it out again and looked at it and noticed that the pins that went into the receiver were bent. I can't tell if that's how it came across or if I did it during install, but straightening it out fixed it.
