Driver Seat Switch Escape

This is the front seat switch for my Escape. The YouTube video was helpful and showed me how to change it. My front seat works like new again.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • Functionality

Fits '11 F350 rider seat

Fits and works perfectly in my '11 F350 rider seat with 6-way drive. The switch was significantly cheaper than any local car dealer. Looks and feels like the OEM I pulled. Shifts are smoother, but that's to be expected since it's new. Will be updated if it doesn't last.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Fits 2006 Mustang GT

Perfect fit for 2006 Mustang GT. The shop charged nearly $400 to fix the switch, and they said they had to remove the front seat to do it. Not correct. Just unplug the old switch and plug in the new one. Exact match. Can't say anything about durability yet, but so far so good.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Secret

Your seat won't go down? Buy this to fix it.

My seat would no longer fold down. Made me mad because my dad was shorter than me and put my damn seat so high I couldn't get it off after a while. Put this new one on and now it works like a charm. I can finally sit comfortably again. Due to the easy attachment, this product is highly recommended.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Everything you need to fix your seat switch!

Ford charges $352 for the entire assembly. Used parts, if you can find them, are >$100. These are the insides of the seat adjuster switch, not the entire assembly. But that's all you need! I'll admit Ford installed it for me, but it took less than 30 minutes and cost me $62. Much better than $352 + $62!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Available in white only

Don't go to a car dealership! Save money and time

Great product, arrived a day early and only took 10 minutes to install. I saved over $300 at local dealers where one was $375 for the part and $120 for the labor. 1 of 3 keys I give on install and all you need is a flathead and a quick tutorial on youtube (there are some great ones there).

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Very expensive

matches but something is wrong and he eats fuses!

I ended up returning it. After about 3 hours of plugging in, the fuses started to burn. I unplug and plug it back in and it works for another 3 or more hours. He blew 4 fuses in an hour while trying to figure out what was going on. The fuses are $5 each, it cost me $20 for something I couldn't even use. I ended up using the old one that had loose contacts. sucks

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Minor issues

Fits directly onto switches and relays

This switch was for my 2009 Ford F-350; seamless fit. The original switch lost some functionality and had to be replaced. It was a lot cheaper than buying an OEM switch for $300+. When I transferred the "knob" (oval shape) from the original derailleur to this one, I noticed that it tends to stick as you move the seat back and forth. This has gone with use of the switch, can probably be fixed with sandpaper or a file on the inside of the knob where it snaps onto the switch. See photos for more…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine
