My truck was stolen so I bought this to replace a damaged ignition switch. Btw GM has a terrible security system so I'm adding a remote viper alarm to my 02 duramax and maybe adding a tracking device

I've watched your videos and followed your instructions, you have to use a large screwdriver to move the inside of the toggle switch to get the switch to line up and latch properly. otherwise very happy with my purchase.

After someone broke into my dad's truck and stuck a screwdriver in his ignition starter or whatever you call it, I bought this hoping it would fits in his 2003 Chevy Tahoe and it works great. It took him about 30 minutes to fix it.

Works great. Ease of installation. Not set up as a replacement for glasses. Please note, does not work without a chipped key. I pulled out my old one and just put the old key on the ring and it starts great. If necessary, I could bypass the security settings. But it's ok and works fine.

My '04 Chevy Silverado was stolen and was missing for a month and when I restored it the key was not in the car. Suppose the person who stole it still had the key. I didn't want to risk losing it again so I ordered it and I'm not stressed again. Simple installation takes maybe 10 minutes. I had no 0 problems, even with a spare key. Worked perfectly for me.

Fits perfectly, grease a little before installing. I got a little confused after taking the old one out because it slipped out of position, I had to insert a screwdriver and twist it back to the crank position. Fits like a glove, glad it's working again. Now you need two keys, but that's better than changing keys plus a 21-year-old truck knowing which keys previous people living in the same town might have. Just glad it's working again.
