No complaints.: Carpenter Square

Nice tool, looks pretty accurate, great price, just received it so can't confirm durability but looks good. One thing I would like to point out is that the edges of the blade are VERY sharp. So you can just file the edges of the ruler blade or just be careful. Overall a good buy. Let me know if you found my review "useful" or if you have any questions. Thanks very much!

"Deep Etched Blades "? It all depends on your definition of "deep engraving ".

"Precision-machined work surfaces for increased precision; deep-etched blades for long-term readability." Wrong! Etchings are barely perceptible. I still have my original blue plastic and Stanley steel combination from almost forty years ago. It is eventually removed because it no longer stretches and holds properly and is too short. Etching on it goes much deeper than on a new one.

Made in CHINA, not UK as described.

Product description means "Made in the UK". The item I received is marked "Made in China". Chrome Face steel blade. This tool is NOT ACCURATE --- NOT 90 degrees --- measured 1/16" stroke on a 12" barrel. NOT SUITABLE for my needs. Very disappointed.
