Perfect replacement

I have bought several as my originals lost the ball and spring due to heavy use. It's nice to use pullers without worrying about pins falling out.

Same number but different

I have an old proto puller that is missing two pins. I found the needle by the number stamped on it. The replacement has the same part number and is basically the same except the pin is (new) 3/32" longer. So it rattles a bit.

Small parts are hard to find.

Being able to get small parts like this pin just saved the old prototype puller. I used a puller with a homemade screw instead of a pin, this screw got in the way or fell out at the most inopportune moment. Now the old classic is ready for use again.
