Stant 10836 Fuel Cap Review

Fits nicely in my 2005 Pontiac Sunfire. I have no problem unscrewing and refitting it. Got this to replace my old cover when I received the EVAP code.

you can attach it to the car with a small plastic rope. It's easy to leave it at the gas station. should work fine, check engine light does not come on. good enough for a 16 year old Montana van for about $12.

My Pontiac engine light came on. The problem was that the gas cap was not screwed on tightly, which created a leak. I purchased and installed this replacement cover and after driving a few miles the engine code cleared and the light went out. Problem solved!

Easy fix for code P0457 for my car. Excellent fit and quality of materials, the only improvement would be the presence of a seat belt to reduce the likelihood of forgetting to replace it after the car has been refueled, but I bought knowing it didn't have that feature. Would buy again.

Unfortunately did not fit. The bottle is too big to fit in the filling tube. Luckily, Revain has a return deal with Kohl's. The previous owner had the same cover but sanded down the plastic to match. The car has evaporator codes due to a lid leak. I'm still looking for the right part.

2003 GMC Envoy kept giving gas cap leak codes. After spending a lot of money on diagnostics and buying 3 gas caps from a GM dealer for about 5 years, I finally settled on this one (and a cheap code reader - Autel MaxiScan MS309 OBD-II Code Reader for less than $20 at Revain ) My problem solved !
