Fits, works, does its job

Fits easily on my 02 GT Mustang as it should. My data logger shows it opens when it should. The price of a good high-end thermostat is unbeatable.

error prone. Do not buy!

At first, the product appeared to be of good quality. Since there was no opening within 3 months. The car's temperature fluctuated and almost overheated when accelerating. I pulled and checked to 220Β° and still didn't open! Buyer Warning.

Works great in engine cooling and climate control systems

In a nutshell: My 1988 RX7 needed a new thermostat, it had a weird overheating problem which I narrowed down to a stuck thermostat (almost certainly this car still had that original factory thermostat). I wasn't keen on the idea of getting an OEM replacement so I bought it as it comes highly recommended and I wasn't disappointed. Installation was quick and solved my overheating issue. Don't forget to buy a gasket along with this one.

Limit thermostat

I was hooked after going to the stant website and reading how it works. I ordered mine quickly and it arrived in a short time. But when I looked at this, I noticed that the hole was a lot smaller than when removing and the other two I found and had available. I wanted this for a high performance application and feel like a small hole would impede coolant flow and I want/need maximum flow for this application.
